[#Mexico] Trip Report : JAN.21 – 30, 2020, #Socorro Islands Vol.5

Day 5, all the three dives we had was at Cabo Pierce. The water temperature was 25 deg.C. The visibility was fantastic as 15-20 meters. We could encounter with schools of Hammerhead Sharks on each single dives that day! And also enjoyed witnessing that both kinds of Black and Chevron Mantas were getting cleaned. These cleaners, Clarion Angelfish, were epidemic. We saw them often as usual, but it was so cute to see that about two dozens of them lined up and were chasing Manta Rays! They even looked like playing a choo choo train. Lastly we could encounter with Dolphins!  We were so satisfied. Besides, what I have to mention was that we heard sound of Whales all day long! I felt the distance and we could not see them. However, it was still a beautiful voice to hear. It was said that they have mostly stopped singing since when their kids got attacked by Killer Whales years ago. Hopefully we can hear them more often again, like once it used to be. To be continued…
