[#Mexico] Trip Report : APR. 2-11, 2019, #Socorro Islands Vol.3

The day 5, we totally lucked out at Roca Partida! The water temperature was 23-24 deg.C. At first, a school of baby Yellowfin Tunas welcomed us and a school of Hammerhead Sharks was behind of the Yellowfins! The number of the White Reef Sharks, which are regular here near the wall, were gathered more than normal! We could see the babies and pregnant ladies of them! And there were many of Galapagos, Silky and Dusky Sharks on the other side. While Yellowfin Tunas were everywhere on and off, the big school of Black Skipjacks made a wall of them.  Besides, Wahoos and Rainbow Runners were seen near the surface. I was happily and luxury confused to introduce which one first!  And the best hit of the day was,,,,,, a Great White Shark! Yes, that Great White Shark! I am not kidding. It was a big surprise!  We even saw an expecting Galapagos Shark later on! Such a shark paradise!! That’s what Roca Partida should be!? I guess.

The day 6, the 1st dive of the day was at El Boiler and the 2nd was at El Canyon. We switched the dive site because the Boiler was too boring that day! And the decision was right. Although the current was very strong, we saw, Shark, Shark and Shark!  Even Manta Rays joined us! And made us very reluctance to exit at the end!  It was a fantastic conclusion of the trip.

Thank you all for joining us and also for making this trip amazing! Hope to see you all again!
