[#Maldives] Trip Report : MAR.9 – 15, 2019, #Male – #Ari – #Vaavu Route Vol.3

The day 4, the 1st and the 2nd dives of the day were at Moofushi Kandu. We settled and waited near the Manta’s cleaning station. Finally a Manta Ray arrived about 20 minutes later. It came very close to us! And more Manta Rays came for the 2nd dive! About 5 of them were seen! Hooray! The 3rd dive was at Dega Thila. Luminous Cardinalfish and Pigmy Sweepers made a big school of them near the reef. We went into the swim through to get to the main reef. The top of the reef was beautifully decorated by Sea Goldies, Maldive Anemone fish, Blue Green Damselfish, Sapphire Damsel, Black Pyramid Butterfly fish and so on.  I wish I could see the amazing scenery with the sunshine forever. The 4th dive was at Radhdhigaa Thila. Observed various fish at the overhangs. And also colorful softcorals were amazing here. I saw some Grey Reef Sharks in the open water side. We concluded the day with a nice setting of the beach BBQ!

The day 5, the last day of diving for this trip. The 1st dive of the day was at Fish Head in the North Ari atoll. Although it was such a popular diving point, but  we were the only one diving when we were there. Yay! We enjoyed observing many many fish such as Grey Reef Sharks, Neon Fusiliers, Giant Trevallies, Bluefin Trevallies and the regular hungry Hawksbill turtle as well. The 2nd and the 3rd dives were at Rasdhoo Madivaru in the Rasdhoo atoll. Grey Reef Sharks, Black-blotched Stingrays, Napoleon and Bigeye Trevallies were seen. The air temperature was 26-33 deg.C. The water temperature was 28-29 deg.C.  Thank you very much for joining our trip and also for making this trip great! Hope to see you all again!
