[Maldives] Trip Report : DEC. 1-7, 2018, Male Ari Vaavu Route Vol.3

[#Maldives] Trip Report : DEC. 1-7, 2018, #Male #Ari #Vaavu Route Vol.3

The day 5 was the last day of diving for this trip.  The 1st and the 2nd dive of the day were at Kandooma Thila in the South Male Atoll. The school of Spotted Eagle Rays and the strong current welcomed us in the water.  Then, the school of Bigeye Trevallies followed.  We had a nice drift diving with introduction of several endemic species around the reef. The current got more calm for the 2nd dive. We could observe the Spotted Eagle Rays very well this time. Suddenly, the big Dogtooth Tunas started attacking to the school of Double-lined Fusiliers. The noise they made in the water surprised us! And Grey Reef Sharks passing by underneath of the school of Fusiliers were very impressive as well. The last dive was at Villivaru Gili. It was very relaxing atmosphere. My favorite here were Blue Green Damselfish and Whitetail Dascylluses living together. They perfectly matched to the coral reef and healed me very well.  There were two guests which had the 300th and the 700th memorable dive with us during the trip. Congratulations!  The air temperature was 26-29 deg.C. The water temperature was 28-29 deg.C. The 3mm wetsuit was recommended.

Thank you all for joining us and also for making this trip fantastic! Hope to see you all again!
