[Mexico] Sea of Cortez Dive Trip Report : AUG. 18 – 23, 2018 Vol.2

#Mexico #Seaof#Cortez #Dive Trip Report : AUG. 18 – 23, 2018 Vol.2

The day 3, we stayed at El Bajo all day long for 3 tanks of diving. Despite of the warm water temperature, we could spot the Hammerhead Sharks! They were at the depth of 26-27m flying by. They were just too fast to be taken pictures! Hope the water temperature will go down a little bit.

The day 4, we moved to Lobera de San Francisquito for the 1st and the 2nd dives of the day. We could play with the playful Sea Lions. Besides, the school of Cortez Barracudas and Bigeye Scads were very impressive. We also enjoyed Macro diving. The 3rd dive was at El Bajito. The rocky area are perfect for Gobbies and Blennies. There were beautiful Corals seen as well. The 4th dive was for Night Mobula dive! We made it!! About a dozen of Mobula Rays we spotted. Yay!

The day 5, the last day of diving, we went to Fang Ming for a wreck dive.  Not only to observe the wreck but Longnose Hawkfish, Blennies and Jawfish are the regular here to see. The 2nd dive was at San Rafaelito. Sea Lions were really friendly and playful. The California version of Indo-Pacific Sergeant were protecting their eggs very well. The water temperature was 26 – 29 deg.C.

Thank you all for joining us and also for making this trip fantastic. Hope to see you all again soon!
