[Maldives] Trip Report : FEB. 16-23, 2019, Deep South Equatorial Route from GAAFU to ADDU Vol.3

[#Maldives] Trip Report : FEB. 16-23, 2019, Deep South #Equatorial Route from #GAAFU to #ADDU Vol.3

We are on the special route number 2! This time, we went through #Gaafu to #Addu, which was located beyond the #Equator! This is a great chance to get to dive go over the Equator!

The day 5, the 1st and the 2nd dives of the day were at #Fuvahmulah in the Fuvahmulah Atoll.  We had a luck to encounter with a super big Whale Shark! I was very excited. The 2nd dive was at Tiger Reef aiming for Tiger Shark. We found a Whale Shark instead. But a Tiger Shark came from the deep side later on. We could successfully take pictures of it!

The day 6, the 1st dive of the day was at #Fuvahmulah again because we stayed in the Fuvahmulah Atoll one more night considering the ocean condition. We successfully found a couple of super big Whale Sharks. Encountering with Whale Sharks happened 4 days in a row in this Fuvahmular. Besides, Tiger Sharks and Hammerhead Sharks were seen in the distance. The 2nd dive was at Maa Kandu Manta Point in the Addu Atoll. While we were enjoying Anthias and all the macro at the reef, a Manta Ray came to say good bye to us at the end. The air temperature was 26-33 deg.C. The water temperature was 26-28 deg.C. Thank you all for joining us and also for making trip very special! Hope to see you all again!
