[#Maldives] Trip Report : FEB. 16-23, 2019, Deep South #Equatorial Route from #GAAFU to #ADDU Vol.2

We are on the special route number 2! This time, we went through #Gaafu to #Addu, which was located beyond the #Equator! This is a great chance to get to dive go over the Equator! Hooray!

The day 3, we had all three dives at #Fuvahmulah in the Fuvahmular Atoll, which was one of the main attractions for this special deep south route.  The big Great Barracudas welcomed us near the reef. Silvertip Sharks and Whitetip Reef Sharks were around the bottom.  The gorgeous big stars, such as Pelagic Threshers, Tiger Shark and Hammerhead Sharks excited us very much.  Besides, we found a Whale Shark in between the 1st and the 2nd dives! And we made it to snorkel with him! This point is fantastic! I could feel some energy of the Equator!

The day 4, the 1st and the 2nd dive was at Fuvahmulah continued from the day before. A half dozen of Hammerhead Sharks came right front of us! We could observe them very well. And also 100+ of Dogtooth Tunas surprised us. The four of Pelagic Threshers scared us, the schol of Silvertip Sharks looked cute compare to the other sharks. The big fat Great Barracudas were seen as well. The 3rd dive of the day was at Tiger Reef in the Fuvahmulah Atoll aiming for Tiger Shark.  A Whale Shark came to us insead! What a surprise! The air temperature was 26-33 deg.C. The water temperature was 26-28 deg.C. To be continued…
