Hello, this is the latest trip report of our full trip held SEP. 14-23. The 1st dive was at Lankan Reef in the North Male atoll as a check dive. As we reached at the Mantas’ cleaning station, there was no Manta but Oriental Sweetlips. A cute baby Hawksbill Sea Turtle showed up. And we almost gave up on Manta Ray, a reef Manta Ray appeared! Thank goodness! The 2nd dive was at Finger Point. The visibility was fantastic! About a dozen of Spotted Eagle Rays went back and forth while we settled at the reef. The Spotted Eagle Rays were above, Grey Reef Sharks and Whitetip Reef Sharks were below. It was hard to decide which way we should look!? The air temperature was 26-31 deg.C. The water temperature was 28-29 deg.C. The 3mm or 5 mm wetsuit was recommended. The visibility was 10-30m. To be continued…
