[#Mexico] Trip Report : JAN. 8-17, 2019, #Socorro Islands Vol.2

The day 3, we had a hard time to deal with a strong and tricky current at Cabo Pierce. We could hear of Dolphines all the time but not found any. Bummer! Still, it was very exciting to see a Black Manta passing by. Then, another very friendly Manta Ray appeared right after! He seemed enjoying the bubble shower made by the scuba divers. As we observe the Manta Ray, a big Tiger Shark passed right behind us! Some of us could even see it’s stripes but most of us missed it, focusing on the Manta Ray. However, tens of Hammerhead Sharks appeared and different individual of Tiger Shark, which was even bigger than the one before, was seen! It might be expecting! I could see the big belly of it!

The day 4, we were at Roca Partida. I had a good feeling about something special happening here at Cabo Pierce from the beginning. And I was right! 8 of Dolphins approached us and swam with us together! Besides, the school of Hammerhead Sharks were there at a time! This is Socorro!  The water temperature was 24-25 deg.C. To be continued…
