The Oaxaca earthquake occurred on February 16, 2018 at 17:39 local time (23:39 UTC) in the Sierra Madre del Sur in Oaxaca state in Southern Mexico. It had a magnitude of 7.2.
The hypocenter was located at a depth of approximately 25 km.
Our travel destinations in Mexico, LaPaz, Socorro Islands as well as Mexico City Airport is operating as usual.
