[#Mexico] Trip Report : FEB.22 – 29, 2020, #Socorro Islands Vol.2

Day 2, all the four dives we had was at El Canyon. The water temperature was 22-23 deg.C. The visibility was fantastic as 10-15 meters. Because of the strong wind, the ash was flown from the island and made the water milky.  Despite the cloudy water, the school of Cottonmouth Jacks and Bigeye Trevallies were fabulous and beautiful through out the day. Especially near the cleaning station, the dense was very thick. Hammerheads were found at the shore. They weren’t a big school but very close distance.  Suddenly, a couple of Whales appeared on the surface! We saw them going back and forth near the drop off from the boat. As we went into the water, one of our groups could see them near the surface. Super! The school of big fat Yellowfin Tunas were seen at the end! To be continued…
