[#Maldives] Trip Report : OCT.29 – NOV.02, 2019, #Male – #Ari Short Trip Vol.3

Day 3 was already the last day for this short trip. Normally it takes for 5 days to go this route but we made it 3 days for the divers who pressed for time! It was the day was designated for Whale Shark! The 1st dive of the day was at Kudarah Thila in the South Ari atoll. We made it a little earlier so that we could enjoy the site exclusively. The number of the Neon Fusiliers was extraordinary. And they were getting attacked by the hunters such as Giant Trevallies, Bluefin Trevallies and Dogtooth Tunas. We could even here the roar sound which made by the Neon Fusiliers whenever they made a sudden move all together. The Bluestriped Snappers surrounded us 360 degrees. That happens often at this site. The second dive was at Dhigurah Out. As we almost gave up on the search of Whale Shark, it happened! A Whale Shark appeared and passed by quickly. It was a very short time of period but we all saw him! Yay! The last dive was at Lux Out. We all enjoyed the relaxed diving find many macros at the reef. The Black-blotched Porcupinefish, which was found stuck in between of the rocks, were so cute! And my recent favorite things to do is observe on the two different species, Yellow Longnose Butterflyfish and Big Longnose Butterflyfish. We can see them a lot in Maldives. And if you look at them very well, you can tell the difference clearly. After the dive we celebrated one of the guests’ 300th memorable dive.  The air temperature was 26-31 deg.C.  The water temperature was 28-29 deg.C. The 3mm or 5 mm wetsuit was recommended. The visibility was 30-40m.

Thank you all for joining us and also for making this trip wonderful! Hope to see you all again!
